M&C Saatchi Open House is a free weekly virtual programme that started during the Covid19 Pandemic when much of the world was on Zoom. Its mission is to help remove barriers for anyone starting, shifting or returning to a career in creative communications who do not have the support, connections or access to do so.
Weekly seminars, where speakers from across the M&C Saatchi Group share their knowledge and experience, are open to all. Participants have the opportunity to apply what they have learnt in optional coursework tasks, receive a CPD accredited certificate and apply to be considered for a future role with us. The programme has run annually since its launch in September 2020 and has reached 6,322 people, aged 16-60, in 101 countries. 2023 EO survey data shows:
73% of participants identify as female
40% of participants from under-represented ethnicities
17% of participants identifying as a person with disability
23% of participants from LGB+ community
1% identifying as transgender/ gender diverse, or someone with a trans history
52% parents did not attend university
58% of UK participants outside London
So far, we have made 25 permanent hires, including 4 apprenticeships, plus 11 internships in account handling, creative, data, design, media, new business, production, PR, and strategy, across M&C Saatchi Group. Meet the joiners.
